Always remember that your strength doesn't come from yourself or from your vow, but from the Holy Spirit. Obey him moment by moment. (It sounds like that's what you are striving to do.) Thank you for posting this! I am 12 years old, almost 13, and have just recently made a vow of chastity. A surprising amount of people don’t support me. They doubt me! Thanks for believing in this and me!

Thank you so much for this! It leaves me deeply bothered when parents and adults in general act in such a way! I recently read an article from another Christian woman who believed that because teens were far too likely to give into temptation, that they shouldn’t date. I simply couldn’t agree with her view because all of the people in healthy, long lasting, marriages I know dated as teens. My parents, grandparents, cousin, church leader, and many family friends. It’s encouraging to find someone who has faith that teens can resist temptation. Just thank you.

What a blessing to read this encouragement! Yes! Purity is possible because is able. By the grace of God my husband and I saved ourselves for marriage and God has amazingly blessed our relationship. Our desire to please God must come first in every relationship. Thank you for sharing this message with young people.

Thankyou for these beautiful words. As a semi-new Christian I only found God a couple years ago,I spent my teenage years decidedly outside the faith. I wish some one had told me these things long before I was a teen. Because by that point I was to far gone to listen.
