Yes, things like bone broth come up if you put on your settings that you want to make your ingredients from scratch. Any necessary items for those go on the shopping list and the instructions to make them automatically come up on your list of recipes too.

As far as using certain ingredients, you can go into the recipe database, select any combination of ingredients to include/exclude and it will pull up the corresponding recipes. You can then click a recipe you want to use and add it to your schedule for the week.

Is that a feature you have to choose? Is there a way to utilize or look for a meal plans or recipes based on ingredients  if you already have or know are on sale and want to buy to be cheap.
