In reply to <a href="https://www.imperfecthomemaker.com/2012/08/anti-procrastination-and-priorities.html#comment-331">Donna</a>.

Thanks for commenting, Donna! You hit the nail on the head when you say the day should start with the Lord. I don't expect to have a perfectly clean house at this stage in my life, and I don't expect that from anybody else either. I just want to encourage others to make sure they're putting things into their day which are exactly the things God wants them to be doing. Thanks for your kind words!

I read your blog this afternoon with a sad smile. I think you are being too hard on yourself. I no longer have any little blessings running around my home, so I miss your problem terribly. I still stay pretty busy as I see taking care of my home and hubby, being a good steward of our finances,(which means I always have some sort of project in the works), and being a help to my daughter and her new baby as my job. The holy calling God placed on my life many years ago. So every day I start my day with time with my Lord and ask Him to order my day. And I am constantly amazed, still, how He does it. I do know that what does not get done wasn't in His plan, so I am at peace with that. Hang in there. Each day has its challenges, but we never face them alone.
