I made this tonight and it turned out great. AS soon as I saw the recipe I had to make it. I omitted the nuts but put in sunflower and pumpkin seeds and add raisins the last 8min. I will use this recipe again. A nice way to use coconut oil.

In reply to dee. Dee, there are two kinds of coconut oil - virgin and expeller pressed. If you use expeller pressed coconut oil, it is odorless and tasteless. I actually prefer the hint of coconut taste in the virgin oil, but you do have the option for tasteless oil if you'd like it better!

This recipe is cooking in the oven as I speak!! It’s delicious before I started to cook it…so I’m sure it’s going to be amazing! Thank you for this recipe. It’s the perfect base I’ve been looking for…to create and expand depending on taste buds and preferences. 🙂 Love it!

I would definitely use this for cooking and baking. I'm learning to substitute coconut oil for other oils in my cooking.
