No I am not shocked! :) As I have stepped way back from it too. I won't say I have quit all together as I can still find coupons for some things - hair products (haven't gone the homemade route - don't know if that will work), makeup, and some food. Coupons themselves have really scaled back - they just aren't as many/high value/stores don't take as many, etc. And couple that with the fact that we are starting to eat/cook a little different. I shop sales (stock up on BOGO) at Publix more than I use coupons anymore. I am trying to use up my stockpile on some items - laundry detergent, dish detergent - then I will go homemade and not go back :)

Looking forward to reading more about what you are doing. And if you have other sites you can recommend reading, would love to know those too.

Christina, you will be shocked to hear that I quit using coupons! The grocery budget has gone up, but now I don't have to resist the temptation to pick up that free-with-coupon chemical-laden Hamburger Helper/canned soup/boxed potatoes "for a busy night". I certainly haven't perfected our eating habits, but like you said, you have to take small steps.

MaryEllen, I really like how you wrote this post. At first when you were saying you didn't really spend time on your health ball I was like ahhh! But then I read further and saw about how you said you had everything else balanced but felt physically bad, and you are right, health is a key in juggling a whole life. You are in charge of your health and so glad you noted that!

And thank you so much for linking up with Healthy 2day Wednesdays as always! Hope you have a blessed week and hope you’ll be linking up this week! I also wanted to let you know we are looking for another person to co-host H2W’s with us if you are interested! (just email me!)

I am working on this balancing act too! For too long it was the money thing then also the TIME factor was huge too. Now that I have more time at home (not necessarily more money though :) I am trying to make small steps towards better health. I always enjoy reading your posts on things like this. You don't come off as a "health nut" :) and I enjoy reading from someone who can present facts of why they do things not just tell me I need to do it. :)
