Wow! So blessed that you are brave enough to take this new direction. It's so good when Christians turn the light on to sin (even in the home), and give a way to living in the way God intended.
Praying God uses your voice to bring comfort and encouragement to many.

Andrea,
I agree with what you have written.
I agree having myself been abused and an abuser to a
degree. Which I have repented of and been delivered from. I agree that abuse must be addressed. I question the method of this approach. I believe God's Word does address abuse. The book of James would be one. God's plan is always repentance and forgiveness and healing and restoration.
Each Child of God is precious ,as is the Christian home. I believe a Facebook approach can lend itself to a host of dangers. A one on one approach will offer a spiritually healthy loving Christ and his Church gift . The aim is not to mislead in any way. Scripture tells us that the heart is deceitful... even the Christian can be deceived. These are my concerns.

I've already been enjoying the bits of this type of content that you've been sharing on your personal FB. There is so much abuse in Christian circles and I love that you are raising awareness and helping us all learn better how to handle it.

God will guide you! I applaud you in your authenticity! Abuse of all kinds is an evil in this world and we should all do everything that we can to curtail it and educate others about it.

Though I agree with you that there is abuse everywhere; I would also have to say that in those cases the husband (and sometimes wife) are misusing their God given vocation.
Ephesians 5:21-6:4 - “Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body and is himself its Savior…Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her…”
The husband should be an image of Christ loving his bride the church. The two (husband and wife) need to put each other first and serve one another through Christ. If a husband is truly walking in faith, true faith, then there shouldn’t be any abuse from any party of the marriage. We all are sinners and need grace and I pray for those in these hard circumstances to find help and truth through Christ.

Wow!
Many Blessings to you!
I forget what led me to your page last year a simple quote which blessed me. But I must share without knowing your heart…you ministered to me. I am that abused woman. I have champion through a divorce after 33yrs of marriage. Lots there! Haha!
But I sum it up as what GOD gave me to move through
He said Aiesha, you didn’t leave the covenant and neither did HE. I was a good wife and I’m a great mom. It was clarion moment in my journey. I too agree that it’s a partnership…a relationship.
One that must have the foundation of AGAPE.
We grow and in Christ so much wiser, compassionate and imperfect????
So I thank you and encourage in your new labor of love

You know I'm with you! God's given you a platform and the things you share may be simple seeds planted, the impetus for a turning point, or even life-saving info. I look forward to what's to come - so needed today (as it has been all along). May He give you great discernment and boldness as you follow Him!

(Just today I was in a discussion regarding a Christian lady who is going into a marriage where red flags abound! It's so sad and scary to see. Thankfully she has a friend in her life who has had the hard conversations, challenged her to think through things differently, and has offered to be right behind her if she decides, even up until the last minute @ the altar, to call it off.)
