I love it, Leah. We multi-task in our spaces right now too. I'm hoping that some of that will change in the next few months when we finish our bonus room, but who am I kidding? The bonus room is already a multi-purpose room and we haven't even finished it and moved our stuff in! -ha! It will be a family/play/school/office room. Oh, well. I'll still be glad to have it.

Thanks for sharing. =)

I really appreciate this topic! :) I have many dual purpose rooms! I think the only ones that aren't are the bedrooms and bathrooms! :) I have a living room/meeting with students/piano/music room, my office/craft storage/Mary Kay room/meeting room, and kitchen/dining room/schoolroom and to me right now it all just feels crazy! :) And like the crazy flows from room to room. I try to keep pathways clear, but we are also tight on storage and living space (family of 5 plus dog in 1,000 ft2) I love tips and ideas- having decor and organizing things blend in instead of stand out is a great one! :) Maybe I should take the guitars off the top of the piano and put something pretty there instead. :)
