My waffle maker is fairly new and it's non-stick, so I didn't spray it, and they came out fine. If yours isn't non-stick or if it's older you may want to spray it. I haven't done any cooking with dry milk in a long time, so I honestly wouldn't know what to tell you on that.

This mix is such a good idea! I am amazed (but I love) that there is no oil added. Did they stick, or do you need to be sure to spray the waffle maker? And the sticks sound like fun, especially for kids or others that like to dip waffles.
When I read the recipe I thought that you could put dry milk into it, and then all you would have to add is water. It makes up 4 and a half cups of mix, so I think about 1 and a half cups of dry milk would work for it. What do you think?
Thanks!
