You are right, I missed it! I was looking at that sweet pix of siblings holding hands and went right past it, I guess. Keep up the great work, Mom. You are doing a wonderful job!

Absolutely! I had included that under number 9; you may have overlooked it, but it is definitely the first and most important step, so thanks for bringing it to the forefront!

As a Mom to a 22-year old son (and my youngest is 15), I would add "Turning to Christ" as an addition. We should do all we have in us to mimic a godly parent and place the gospel in front of them consistently. His choosing Christ for himself is two-fold: To ask Jesus to save Him and be the Lord of his life and then to turn to Christ for his choices (paths) in life.
This was a lovely list. Stay strong Moms and enjoy this time you have with your little boys. Your diligence will reward you over and over as they grow into fine young men.

This is a great list. I now have two teens. One is my 14 year old son. I'm finally starting to see all of the work we've done imparting those lessons begin to pay off. He's a great kid, and we can have lots of fun together.

I would add to list teaching the importance of family. We've always tried- amid kids' busy schedules- to make plenty of time that we spend as a family as well. Now that my oldest are teens and they have friends and are coming and going more places, they realize the importance of making time for being with family.
