Ahhh....I just sent my last child off to college this past Saturday for his first semester. Saturday was a rough day for me......a lot of tears and aching in my heart. However, my husband sweetly reminded me that I have invested all those years in my children to bring them to this point where they can venture out on their own. It's true, mamas, don't wish the time away. So many older woman had told me when mind were young to treasure the time with them because they grow up too fast. Those words reverberated in my mind many times over. I tried to treasure each and every day with them (even the ugly days). And now I have such sweet memories to comfort my heart and bring smiles to my face. The time we have them is too short. They really are the Lord's to begin with. So how are we managing these great blessings He has placed within our care? Cherish the moments!

I don't even have kids and that was heartwarming! And, oddly depressing, but heartwarming all the same!
Kids will be kids. Life will be life. But there is beauty in every day (or every non-well-tipped lipstick!), it just requires us to find it.
