Yes! The 4x6 card idea is perfect! I can keep the simple little system going, but still be able to write down specific requests.

maybe only put one card in the top slot and in the bottom slot put a 4x6 card that you could update with prayer requests? maybe even slide the album in your purse on Sunday so you could jot some down when you hear them?

Anyways just some ideas. But honestly has long as you are praying for them with your little kids you are having an impact. Not only on the missionaries but on your little ones too! They will start to recognize the missionaries when they come back to visit, and make a personal connection to missions. My almost 5 year old niece does that. When there has been a visiting missionary kid in SS with her she always wants to get one of their "picture cards" and she can tell you the kids names and that they are missionaries. They just put them on their fridge but aren't in church as much as your kids.

Christa @ Brown Sugar Toast posted an idea like this "a prayer bucket" and she says she saves the Christmas cards of close family and friends and prays through those with her little one too.

Thanks for the reminder. I have mine beside me, but have not pulled it out in a long time. I need to do that. You are leaving a legacy that is pleasing to the Lord. We are so blessed!
