Sounds like a great word for your situation, along with excellent scriptures to keep at the forefront of your mind. I pray your year is full of the evidence of God's goodness!

TRUST! As a single mom of two it has been very difficult for me to depend upon others and take everything life has thrown at me upon myself and my own merits! Hi Tara,
I'm going to assume it's the MTHFR mutation you have? (That's what I have, along with others as well.) I have not yet been tested for Lyme, which is a possibility for me too. I found an MTHFR specialist on a locator that is relatively near me, but I am waiting until I'm done breastfeeding to actually go anywhere. I'd be open to seeing your doctor's information as I have not made a final decision yet about where to go. You can email me at imperfecthomemaker@gmail.com if you have the chance. Thank you!

I, too, have a genetic mutation (several actually) and through my journey of this and Lyme I have found an amazing doc that has been a true God send. Please let me know if you would like more info. I would be happy to share with you. Nourish is an incredibly helpful posture to have in your healing. I love that!

I too suffer from a chronic disease, fibromyagia. I relate to everything in this post, other than my children are 23 and 19 and my husband loves to cook. I know others that choose a word for the year though I never have, if I did "Nourish" could definitely be a top contender in my life. Thank you for the honesty you gave your readers.

My word is intentional. We to eat an organic whole food and it is a lot more prep! But we have noticed the differences. One thing that we started to do in the last week is keep a salad bar in the fridge. I prep enough veggies, hard boiled eggs, and meat in each container and then we just have to grab them and make a quick salad. We also keep cut up fruit, soup and potato salad/or pasta. It makes it a little bit easier to eat healthy!
