I think that continually talking to God throughout my day makes it easier for me to discern when it’s time to really press in to His Word and when it is beneficial to do something creative or relaxing. This was a great and needed post. I think it is way too often we think, ok, got my chapters in for the day…and we fail to take extra moments just to praise, thank and glorify the Lord. Have you hear of the one-minute Bible for busy women? How horrendous that any Christian woman thinks she is pleasing the Lord when she only spends one minute in His word! I have also read many “Christian” bloggers that say,”I don’t go to church, I don’t read my Bible and I don’t pray.” hmmm.MAJOR issues there! Thanks for taking time to encourage women to stay focused on what is most important, our relationship with Jesus Christ! It takes time to have a relationship. Great comparison with your hubby before you were married.
