You're far from alone. I've been sick for over a year and just kind of went with it until I ended up in the hospital diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder that causes sores and and constant constant pain. The M.D.s didn't have any solution except skin grafts over large areas of my body in order to remove the pores because then I couldn't get the sores there, even though I'd still have the disorder and could still get the sores elsewhere. I was lucky enough to have access to a few "alternative" Dr.s and did a few things. The most successful are finding what my food sensitivities are and cutting those foods out and acupuncture. I did just the nutritional side for awhile, but it's adding in the acupuncture that's sped up the process. I'm definitely not on the other side yet, but I can actually see that there is another side and that's a huge deal. I tell everyone I can afford acupuncture now. It's funny to me how many people doubt it, His made our bodies to operate a certain way and when there's interference it doesn't work correctly. Acupuncture helps to remove that interference and let Gods creation do its job. I've also found that nothing tastes as good as healthy feels. I eat a little sugar or wheat and my body freaks out and takes 5 steps backwards, no food is worth that. I also feel like you kind of get used to those foods that you don't like as much. I've always hated cauliflower, but I've found ways to eat it that I'm starting to actually like it. I hope you notice the change soon and that your body doesn't take as long to turn around as mine has!

I'm sorry you are having to go through this. Praying you will start feeling better soon.
I guess I would say that I'm in the same boat. Hormone imbalances and poor digestion would be two of my problems, as well as the neurological problems and muscle problems. If energy were rated on a scale of 0 to 10 like pain, mine would have rated somewhere around 2 about a month ago. The only foods that don't seem to cause my body some kind of reaction are lemons and oranges. Can't eat just those two foods for very long. :-) Instead, I've just taken the foods I tolerate best and made smoothies. After about a month on those nutrient dense smoothies two or three times a day, my energy level has finally started to go up to about 4. Not much, but I'm thankful for this improvement.
Again, we are praying for you and hope that things will start looking up for you soon.

Don't give up! I have been where you are and know exactly what you are goint through. I have 2 small children, I teach high school, and do ALL the cooking and cleaning in my house. When I became ill 5 years ago, I thought my diagnosis was going to take over my life and become who I am (I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome). Being an athlete, always fit (actually underweight), I couldn't understand how I could be sick. After several years of medications and test after test, I decided to take control and change my diet. I read books and did research (The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf, Minding My Mitochondria by Dr. Terry Wahls, Healer: The Pioneer Nutritionish by Joseph Dispenza, and Eat Right For Your Blood Type by Dr. Adabo just to name a few) and found a diet that worked right for me, the Paleo diet. I highly recommend researching the different lifestyle changes you can make that best works for you. Follow blogs online and through Facebook. I am now off of all my medications and feel amazing (after a year and a half on paleo). I do not practice Western Medicine anymore but see a nutritionist and am looking to find a good naturopathic doctor in my area. A lifestyle change is never easy, but it's totally worth it for me. Now I have the energy to play with my boys, take them to soccer practice and coach volleyball at my school. Keep you head up! You can do it :-)

After four long years, I'm coming out on the other side and can say that the journey has been worth it all! Don't quit! You're not going to feel "better" for quite some time as your body detoxes and heals itself. Just be patient, stick with it, don't cheat :-). This is a total lifestyle change and you will start to enjoy all those things that you don't really like because you will like how good they make you feel :-) **I HATE carrots, but I enjoy the juice!** Do I still wish I could have easier food items in my cabinets, eat out more than once a month, buy my bread instead of make it, pull out a "quick" dinner? OH MY, YES! Can I do that? No. Never. But you know what? That's ok! Nothing good comes without hard work. It will be ok for you too, soon :-) We're all pulling for you and praying daily for your continued healing! Keep us updated with your progress!!
