So glad to have "met" you, Nancy! I'm sure I haven't done a good enough job putting this out there, but 2 years ago God very clearly led me to a Dr. of Functional Medicine who was able to help me find the root cause of my issues and get the help I needed! I am certainly not in perfect health, but I am feeling much better than I ever DREAMED I would be able to feel again! I wrote a book so I could help other women dealing with the same issues: https://www.imperfecthomemaker.com/store/farewell-fatigue I do still look forward to getting my glorified body, though, and meeting you there!

Maryellen,
Wow. Just found your site today through Lisa Hill's "Club 31 Women".
Started checking out your site...especially the HEALTH stuff. The more I read, the more I searched...
Last week I found out I have Hashimotos too.
My doctor pretty much said the same thing yours did...take vitamins (& keep taking thyroid Rx). Right.
May GOD gently & boldly lead us both where HE desires, that we may be living that ABUNDANT LIFE He promises. I only have 1 daughter (was afraid to have more when I never recovered my energy after having her). May God draw you & your husband closer & closer to Him, and one another, and give you both wisdom & perseverance as you take steps live healthy & strong for Him.
I'll be signing up for your posts next....
Until we meet someday, all healed~

Of course you are not overstepping. Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I've actually done quite a bit of freezer cooking in the past, but have gotten completely out of the habit. Thanks for the reminder! It would probably be a big help!

Hey sweet lady, I have only been reading your blog for a short while and have never commented before. I will be praying for your physical health, as well as the spiritual health of you and your family. One thing that MAY help ease the burden a little for your bad days is to make freezer meals on your good days. Things that can just go in the oven or Crock-pot can really help ease your stress when you are not feeling good, and they can be very nutritious for your family.

I hope I am not over-stepping. It is just a thought and is something that has helped me out and has kept us from ordering take-out or fixing things that are less than completely healthy.

Thankful that you are having a good day!
