I can absolutely think of a few things! I work 40 hours a week outside of the home, blog, and I have to take care of my home too. I don’t have time to make homemade cleaning products! I just buy some 409 or Cleaning grade vinegar and call it done. In the amount of time it would take for me to make homemade dish washing bombs, I could have already loaded and unloaded the dishwasher!

I also quit couponing. I was saving money, but seriously losing time. Honestly, I wasn’t even saving THAT much money!

I do this most frequently with things around the home. Anything that causes me stress or time, I take a second look at. I take my average pay at work and value my time that way. If I make X $ per hour, then I split that up into minutes and see what is most valuable to me at the time!

Yes! I am the same way. I can (and do!) stretch a dollar three ways, but some things just aren’t worth it. I feel like we can take being a good steward/frugality too far – to where money becomes the idol again, even though we aren’t making much, or are ‘poor’. It’s a mentality, that thinks of money all the time – unable to let any go. Just my 2 cents. 🙂
